Open access & Licensing

All articles published in Dolor® Investigación, Clínica & Terapéutica are subject to a 6-month embargo period, after which they are distributed under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0).

During the embargo, content is accessible exclusively to subscribers or through pay-per-view. Once the 6 months have passed, articles are made available to all readers free of charge. At that point, readers may read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, link to the full texts, or use the articles for any other legal purpose, without requiring prior authorization from the publisher (Publicaciones Permanyer) or the authors, provided the use is non-commercial, the content is not modified, and the original work is properly cited. This policy complies with the BOAI definition of open access.

Any reuse involving adaptation, transformation, derivative works, or commercial purposes requires prior authorization from Publicaciones Permanyer.
Currently, the journal ensures interoperability by providing articles in PDF, HTML, and XML formats, available free of charge and exclusively for medical, academic, and knowledge dissemination purposes.

Copyright: Acceptance of a manuscript for publication implies the automatic transfer of the author’s publication rights to Publicaciones Permanyer.

All articles receive a DOI provided by CrossRef and are preserved following the CLOCKSS digital archiving policy.
